Cherry house had amazing structure & support. Gave me the strength & confidence to help me get to where I am now.
Moving to Peach house was a great experience for me and my recovery and continuing my own self development.
I had just completed 5 months in Sefton park and it was my first time I had attempted to tackle life sober in a long time and I was very fearful, reluctant and very unsure whether I was doing the right thing and most of all whether I was gonna be ok!
I had learned and reflected a lot in Sefton but I still had a lot of work to do, and moving to Peach house gave me the opportunities to continue with the work I had done in treatment, but also helped me integrate back into the community, and gave me a safe setting with like minded people and great support from the staff.
The whole experience gave me structure, purpose, discipline ,support, safety and a communal feel to it.
Everyone had a role in the house and that for me was really important for me as I had been so isolated for a long time, and it was really great to be a part of something with like minded people.
The support from the staff at Peach house was excellent and I felt really comfortable with them as I knew most of them from Sefton, it was also very comforting that the whole project was very important to them personally and they just wanted what was best for us and for us all to succeed.
I spent just over a year as a resident at Peach house and decided I had done enough to take the next step of moving into my own flat which i am currently still residing. I still have great relationships with staff and ex residents at the house, some remain an integral part of my support network.
It was a great experience for me living at Peach house and was invaluable to my recovery.
I was given the opportunity to stay in one of Orchards supported accommodation when leaving treatment in 2017. Whilst my stay I experienced support from 121 sessions, 4-6 wk progress checkings, phone calls when needed, holistic therapy. I felt safe & secure in a community whilst working towards independent living. Many fond memories & respect & gratitude I hold from my stay. Thanks you guys!
Orchards was there for me every step of the way as I worked to piece my life back together. I now have my own house and my kids are living with me full time. Orchards continue to be there for me, which is massive.
Peach House was where I learned to stay sober and the skills college on locking road was where I learned to lay bricks!
Iv been living in orchard house now for just over a year and I can honestly say the support within the house is outstanding. Since leaving treatment this has definitely helped me grow as a person and find my feet...
