“Orchards Community Support indirectly began 10 years ago when I purchased Peach House as an independent landlord.  After a few years I was able to join forces with Graham and Lizzie Maguire and expand the service.  Today, Orchards is a registered Community Interest Company with 6 staff and a small pool of volunteers. We now have three 5/6 bed houses which boast a thriving community of men and women recovering from lives of addiction and homelessness.  We have recently purchased another 6 bed property which is in desperate need of some love and serious refurbishment in order to meet our high standards of quality.  We expect to add this property to our service early next year, 2021.”

This steady and sustainable growth continues to be achieved through the dedication of our staff, volunteers and supporters.  Also through the support of everyone we work with daily: our clients and their families, social services, probation officers, community psychiatric nurses and doctors. We also maintain good relationships with local housing agencies as we look to support residents with their next steps when it is time to move on from our service.
